The Future: A Look Ahead

Some people are arguing that weather control isn’t a load of crap and that scientists have successfully been able to manipulate certain aspects of weather patterns, whether it was creating thunderstorms or preventing them from happening. Apparently the Pentagon has had $30 million dollars poured into the HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) and they have developed power generators that beam over 3.6 million watts into the air, creating a huge electrically charged layer in the upper atmosphere. They argue that since most storms and tornadoes consist of huge amounts of energy, its possible to create them by simply sending huge amounts of energy back into the atmosphere. This new approach to controlling mother nature has even been found documented in the United Nations Treaty, where they have prohibited nations from using weather control as a means of warfare.

This concept seems pretty crazy to me. I never thought it would be possible to control and manipulate mother nature. I still remain pretty skeptical about this new idea, but it sure is interesting. I think humans can cause relatively minor alterations in the weather, making the skies a bit more overcast and maybe even a bit more rainy, but I don’t think it’s possible to create tornadoes and hurricanes and send them wherever we want. I suppose we will just have to wait this one out and see what happens.
